United Church of Two Harbors

United Church of Two Harbors is one congregation fully affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Methodist Church. We are located at 531 3rd Ave in Two Harbors, Minnesota.

Our normal Sunday Schedule is:

9:10 am - Kid's Choir (except summer)
9:30 am - Sunday School for all ages (except summer)
10:30 am - Worship

Coffee Fellowship follows worship downstairs in our Fellowship Hall. All are welcome!

Our Pastor is the Rev. Lawrence Lee who has been serving our congregation since August, 2003.

The United Church Women served up their annual Spring Luncheon with the theme "Springtime Potpourri" today. There was plenty of entertainment including an appearance by the Men's "Liturgical" Dance Troupe dancing to Tip Toe through the Tulips.

I've been hearing a lot about going carbon neutral. The concept is pretty simple and thousands of years old. For every sin one must pay penance. And while we don't think about it much websites do contribute to global warming by using energy. While using energy is unavoidable even with conservation, one can offset the negatives by using your resources (typically money) to do things that will decrease the impact in other areas. Well, our host server has gone carbon neutral and, ipso facto, so has our website. I take no credit for this, but I'm pretty happy they take it seriously.

Good eating and good fellowship at our Family Day at Split Rock Lighthouse, even though the weather was unseasonably cold for May 20. It snowed!
